I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool - for love - for your dreams - for the adventure of being alive. The Campaigner personality is a true free spirit. They are often the life of the party, but unlike types in the Explorer Role group, Campaigners are less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment than they are in enjoying the social and emotional connections they make with others. More than just sociable people-pleasers though, Campaigners, like all their Diplomat cousins, are shaped by their Intuitive N quality, allowing them to read between the lines with curiosity and energy. They tend to see life as a big, complex puzzle where everything is connected - but unlike Analyst personality types, who tend to see that puzzle as a series of systemic machinations, Campaigners see it through a prism of emotion, compassion and mysticism, and are always looking for a deeper meaning. Worse still if they find themselves beset by the administrative tasks and routine maintenance that can accompany a leadership position. Luckily, Campaigners know how to relax, and they are perfectly capable of switching from a passionate, driven idealist in the workplace to that imaginative and enthusiastic free spirit on the dance floor, often with a suddenness that can surprise even their closest friends.

I guess, what I'm trying to say is don't worry about trying to figure it all out right now. And if you then wanna try something else - do it. Remember many of these may be more releated to how we are likely to think about those jobs rather than if we would actually be good at those jobs.

I know personally one of the ones on the list chemists; I had my own feelings aganist doing because though I was good at it, the work seemed very boring and overly methodological compared to fields I enjoyed more such as Biology though even since I was a child, I desired to be a biologist or Psychology even though I knew knowledge for those would require knowledge from chemistry too.

Oh please I'm an enfp and a dentist. Yes I get bored out easily but dentistry isn't boring. In fact the learning period has more opportunity to express your artistic side than any other professional course available. Yes at times my non clinical work gets mundane, but that's not my regular job, when there's a challenging case and a well executed treatment and outcome, I feel very alive.

It is never the same procedure. I did pg in periodontics which is a surgical department so i don't do regular cavity fillings. Prosthodontics and orthodontics are other departments that bring out ur cretative And analytical side. And I'm still looking to expand my horizons by attending workshops and doing fellowships. I'm looking to do an implant course to make my work more diverse.

I don't like working for someone and so I'm looking to set up my own clinic soon. What's more u get to meet a lot of new people everyday in your practise. Please go for it.

I love my job. Also, nothing to look down upon regular cavity fillings. Every cavity is different, in size, shape and severity and requires different techniques and materials sometimes more than one the same teeth. It's extremely technique sensitive and artistic in nature. I can forget the whole world and time just flies if I have some composite cement in hand. Trust me, dentistry is anything but boring.

U need to work hard.

Dating a campaigner personality

U can do it only if u r passionate. And enfps are naturally passionate towards artistic and creative handwork and can turn out to be the best candidate for dentistry. I'd say a dentist would be so boring! Same ol' cavity to fill. Or just another root canal to perform. Can't really think outside the box. Methods are what they are. Not much creativity needed to work on teeth! Coming from someone who was a dental assistant for a SHORT time, I can say with confidence that dentistry is not good for us.

It is as repetitive as it gets and I got burned out so quickly. I was only a dental assistant for about 6 months and it was the longest 6 months of my life. It felt like 2 years. I was also a dentist assistant and it was actually really interesting but at the same time I thought it would make much more fun being the dentist than the assistant cause that was really repetetive and got boring real quick. In the end I had to quit that job after 3 month bc of health issues and psycological issues that came from the people that worked at that place and all in all it was just a really bad time for me but job as a dentist from what I saw first hand seemed really interesting and fun.

They can - I am. I like to think it's not so much about the career itself, rather how you approach it. Being an ENFP means you're very personable - I think that's a fantastic trait for a dentist to have especially one that works with children, as I do.

opinion you commit

I enjoy my job and the work I do, and what I do to help other people, and I enjoy connecting with others in that way. Anyone who says that someone of a particular MBTI type can't have a particular career just plain doesn't know what they're talking about.

People within the same profession have different approaches to dealing with problems, people and situations - and all types of people can bring something to the table in any career they're passionate about.

I been searching for programs to learn. Also steady income would be nice but also love a challenage.

I completely understand. There was a running joke in my family that I was working up the alphabet in terms of careers. I started off in an Aeronuatics program, then went to beauty school, then studied criminal justice and became a cop, tried being an executive secretary good lord, that was the absolute WORST for our personality type, lol I love that.

Im good at it. You probably are too. I travel somewhere different each week as well I meet lots of people all the time but at the end of the day, I retreat to the quiet of my hotel room so I can recharge. I need that. So I hear you I know the feeling of wanting to try so many different things and at some point, annoyinglyyou have to settle on something!!! So think about a profession that dosent keep you cooped up in one place. But if it does, the people you deal with should change pretty consistently.

apologise, but

Think about careers that value thinking outside of the box for solutions Something that allows you to be creative, and I dont necessarily mean artsy My resume may make me look so flighty but Im not.

Every job change was something that added to my skills and experiene and made me more marketable till I finally found this dream job that roped me in for the last 14 years. I make a great salary too. And I think you should trust your intial instict and follow that.

For instance Same for a nurse Again, endless opportunities. The hard part is at some point you need to pick something and go with it. Go with what can maybe also cross into other occupations altogether.

You also need to consider how much schooling you are willing to do. If I hadnt become inpatient, I would have gone that route.

thank for

Heck if you like criminology, major in forensic psychget your Phd and maybe you can become a profiler! How cool would THAT be? Anyway, at least I hope you feel understood. You're not flightly Im always reminded of a song that says "after all it was a great big world, with lots of places to run to! I get you. We get you. Maybe what you have to come to terms with is that whatever you decide on in school you will HAVE to find a way to get thru the monotony of some classes or chapters or things that require detail.

Those are the things that can frustrate you and think forget itthis is NOT what I want to do!!

please the message

Figure out what one profession offers the most diverse opportunity and also feeds your passion amd see the program to the end. You can do this. I wish I could catch up with you in a few years and hear where your journey eventually led you. Good luck! Farina - that was one of the best comments I have read in years of reading online. Its simple but bursting with understanding and energy. From one explosion of cerebral ectasy to the next that dragged me through the pits of depression hell.

I've had jobs that have left me so exhausted I couldn't speak properly when it was complete because I had exhausted myself and loved every minute. Another job I gave so much I had a mild stroke, but I wouldn't swap the experience for the world teaching students English in the ME. The job that gave me the biggest buzz was in the British military. I was trained and worked in Special Ops. It was the best - but once I'd passed all the hard parts I jacked it in and went looking for the next challenge.

Put simply I couldn't keep a job for more than a couple of years. A tell tale sign would be when I would find myself looking out the window of an office or some such when I should have been working. I suppose when a final conclusion is reached I'm a variety addict and there ain't no cure. FYI I bunked off most of my last year in school. Because it had become so excruciatingly boring.

valuable piece Rather

Have a great day. I can agree with most of the results except I didn't see anything about being physically active and the enjoyment of being out in nature. I love art and can appreciate it but if my life depended on drawing a stick man i would not be long for this world.

This fits me perfectly except Im Inteoverted extroverted, so basicly im shy but i love to socialise with close friends.

I also wonder how i work differently than normal enfps plus, im an aquarius. My son has autism. Interesting that you are an ENFP! I am and ENFP plus an aquarian. We have confidence, charisma and foresight. We are exceptional at language s including body language and nuance which makes us good comedians observers and comic timing.

BUT, what we find utterly boring is the process, the details, the interminable steps you need to arrive at the grand vision. Not that we would call a wasted project "defeat," but rather "disappointment" that nobody else could see what a winning opportunity has gone by.

We see the future - what could be - and we want to bring it to humanity now. Let's take an example such as film making, or screen writing, one of the best mediums for ENFPs. Who are you to decide for them? Where's your enthusiam and passion? What do you mean it's far-fetched: it's the future genre!

What excel spreadsheet figures? No, of course I don't know what the returns will be. Why is all this taking so long?

So we believe that life should encompass being an aerial trapeze artist, a flight attendant, a comic book artist, a singer or actor in a grand movie, an interpreter with the UN, a skydiver or parkour runner. Everything needs to be an adventure and there's not enough time in this lifetime to do it all.

More like several lives at once. What stops us? One of the major things an ENFP hates is rules. Try telling that to famous golfers or comedians who try new things and are recognised as such because they broke the rule books that the scared and insecure types have created. What's spontaneous about any of that? Chaos reigns in the ENFP head because we believe chaos is how the Universe operates in a splendidly creative order.

Ok, who wants to go surfing? Being hyper-alert and aware helps ENFPs improve their social comprehension, but reading between the lines only works when something is actually hidden there. I love you!!!! You have said everything I have ever thought in my heart.

But I can do all the things I feel happy about without being stuck at a everyday doing the same thing. But that changes now.

Thank you! This was beautifuly stated and inspiring as well! Goodness gracious have mercy on me Joe. Couldnt be any more accurate! Brilliantly said Joe, I couldn't agree more! We do what is important and has meaning. And creativity, chaos and order are all inextricably linked - Einstein would agree! Thank you Joe! One other thought to add Well said!
